UV Air Purification to combat the virus

I have been worried about the coronavirus since I first heard about it on the news (weeks before it became the immense crisis that both of us see this week).

I guess a lot of people say that they were worried “before” all the people else, although I easily was.

I went out plus purchased a UV media air cleaner for our apartment HVAC system. I had study about UV media air cleaners before plus knew that as soon as the coronavirus became a sizable deal here in the States, that they would sell out instantly. I didn’t want to have to rely on air filters- although, I did go ahead plus purchase a 2-week supply of HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air filters) air filters as well. UV media air cleaners are, essentially, a UV light is placed on the evaporator coils of your HVAC plan to stop organic growths that can find apartment on the humid evaporator coils. Having a UV media air cleaner added to your HVAC plan can be a pretty fancy endeavor, although I suppose your health is worth it. It’s important to do everything you can to improve the air quality- especially the air quality- as much as you can afford to. I hope when all of this coronavirus madness passes that both of us look back plus say, “we overdid it” instead of “if only both of us would have done more”. In unprecedented times such as this, it’s important to control what both of us can and, in our case, I am able to control the air quality of our apartment plus I implore you all to do the same wherever possible. If you cannot afford a UV media air cleaner, I hope you will at least consider replacing your MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) air filter with a HEPA air filter.
