It’s been coming for some time now.
I can’t say as I surprised due to the fact that I have been dreading it almost every single.
The last few years I’ve been fully aware that I would be replacing my Heating and A/C. And then there is the unusual part. I’m easily upset to see the old and run down heating and cooling unit leave. It’s similar to saying goodbye to a long lost friend. This was the first and only lake house I have ever purchased. And that ancient Heating and A/C plan out there was brand new when we had first I moved in. I can remember marveling out how cool it kept the house. Also how abruptly it could take the chill off a crisp night. I can also think back to remembering picking the unit with the business as our lake house was being built. It was simply the best on the market at that point in time. With that being said, that’s totally done with now. The facts are very clear. The added repair calls and the steady decline in efficiency. Even our young Heating and A/C repairman has been constantly telling me for a long time that it’s time to move hobby on. So, I am facing facts. I reached out to my same Heating and AC business from twenty years ago. She had more digital gadgets but spent almost the same amount of time measuring. She asked me a few questions and easily listened as I answered. My Heating and A/C woman did such a thorough and finished job that I was shocked to get her email the next afternoon. Being the Heating and A/C pro that she is, she didn’t attempt to just sell me some random thing. She did her homework. The heating and cooling business sent us three different prices on three different Heating and A/C systems on the market at that time. While I will without a doubt miss my old buddy, I am so happy to welcome the next generation of Heating and AC technology.
