She’s the best partner

Let’s face it, there is definitely no opportunity that I am going to eventually process and deal with all of the information thrown at me each day.

My whole brain just sort of shuts down at a certain point when overloaded with information. Much of this unwanted information I am receiving is entirely useless as well. And yet it never stops flowing in, but just walking into our wonderfully HVAC controlled home after work I see it really kills me. Right there under the HVAC vent is a kitchen table swamped with useless and tons of unasked for mailers. My small dining room is packed with boxes of our important records as well. Then you factor in all the manuals, warranties and instructions for all the many indoor appliances in the house. Recently, I was attempting to sift our way through all this homeowning mess in order to get a bit more organized. That’s when a sudden panic hit me hard. I came across the HVAC warranty card and observed that it hadn’t been filled out when we got the system. The immediate response for me was to start dripping with sweat. Our HVAC is about 6 months old. I think that the warranty had to be registered with the factory in 60 to 90 days from the upgrade. I had the bad feeling that I had missed that important window and the HVAC warranty was now void. My husband strolled by as I was tearing the office apart looking for the HVAC information. He asked me what I was doing… and then he smiled and told me to chill out. My husband registered the HVAC online the first day we even got it.
