I absolutely like sleeping in a cool bedroom in a home.
You could say that I have gotten used to sleeping in a cool bedroom that I cannot sleep separate from an air conditioner.
I live down south, and it genuinely never gets cold, so I cannot just open the window and let in some fresh, cool air. I purchased a new a/c for our room recently, and it keeps our room so cool. I like walking into a cool bedroom right when it is time to go to sleep. I do not care about traveling because that means I have to stay in a room that is actually not as cool as mine is at home. I visit our parents every year around the holidays, and we like to stay for about a week or so. I like seeing our family, but I never genuinely get a nice sleep while I’m there. They did not have the a/c on of course because it was the end of December, but I am so used to having a cool room that I just cannot sleep without cool air blowing. Last Christmas, I decided to buy a portable a/c to bring with me to my parents house. I did not open the a/c until late when everyone was asleep in their bed. I could not figure out how to work the thing. It took myself and others multiple minutes to get it on. I set it as well as tried to go to sleep, but it was still warm in our room all evening. The next day I found out that I had the furnace setting on instead of the air conditioner. I didn’t even recognize that it could be heat. I study the entire instruction manual the next day, so I knew how to work it, and the next day I had no trouble sleeping at my parents house.
