I am certainly fond of nature! I was always rescuing creatures in need, whether immense or small.
This started young, when teenagers would catch live creatures, and hurt them.
Instead, I would suddenly snatch the creature and run away with it to help it, then most people are on board with the method of creature rescue, until I mention insects. Then it’s equal to a train wreck in their heads. Most people either fear or hate insects, and I don’t honestly understand why. I think a component of it is the fact that people have the misconception that all insects are out to kill them, especially poisonous spiders and honey bees. I guess it is certainly poor when I see insects killed when there is no reason, especially since they are incredibly helpful to the environment. But most people simply don’t care. I have been trying to raise awareness for bees for certain, because they are in trouble. Honeybees and Bumblebees are certainly endangered, and it doesn’t help when people kill them, then without them, every one of us would literally die. I don’t care as much about wasps and nasty hornets, however I still hate seeing people kill them as well. I try to donate to a bee rescue as much as possible. I also try to get the word out to people, that honey bee removal is certainly easy, and it keeps the precious bees alive. They also go to honey farms which is a major benefit to people and the bees. I have been able to save some bees, and that makes myself and others incredibly cheerful. I only hope I can convince more people to do the same.
