Trying to save energy with less A/C equipment use

I came to see that we spend a huge amount of money in the Summer months using our large a/c equipment.

Every year around this time our home easily becomes bonkers. Everyone starts getting into the holiday spirit which can easily fly off the rails… When people get started with becoming enthusiastic about the holidays our property starts to get chaotic & valuable. It sincerely doesn’t help that our family is easily set on using as many string lights as they can get their hands on to light up the whole neighborhood with a brilliant display wrapped around our property. As you can imagine, it actually becomes rather pricey to keep all of these lights on each year! That’s why I always start saving up for our Christmas light fund before the frosty season is even in sight. In fact, this warm season I was actively cutting down on our energy expenses by modifying the central heating, cooling, & air quality control equipment settings in the name of our eventual Christmas celebration. I came to see that we spend a huge amount of money in the Summer months using our large a/c equipment. It’s not straightforward to keep an entire property adequately chilled when the outdoor climate is so tepid & humid! We often wind up spending a good amount on our energy bills because of the a/c equipment that is responsible for maintaining a bunch of high quality indoor air. This summer, I started augmenting the temperature control settings a reasonable amount so that we utilized the a/c equipment less. Every single day I would bump up the air temperature settings by a couple of degrees so that the family would not notice a relatively massive change in the indoor air quality levels. By the end of the season, we had saved enough cash on our energy bill to justify this sizable Christmas lights display.
