We pretty much do this every single winter; go to the HVAC convention.
We always go together as our boss offers to pay for our hotel rooms and our meals. I have to admit, I don’t mind going on these trips very much because we get to go down south in the midst of the winter. It’s always like going to a tropical paradise for us. My wife sometimes gets mad that I get these vacation-like experiences, but it’s really business and it’s required by the boss. The boss prefers to stay entirely modern with all the latest and best HVAC systems. He loves to advertise the newest HVAC systems that are incredibly energy efficient. He always pushes for the most energy efficient HVAC systems and loves to go for installations of all types. We do great deals on radiant heated flooring and other excellent systems like ductless mini splits. There’s a reason why our HVAC company is so successful and that is because of the brilliant vision of the boss. So sure, if I’m helping the HVAC company do better by going to these HVAC conventions, I’m happy to do it. I learn a good amount as we all do with the latest and greatest of HVAC technology. Honestly, one of my preferred HVAC systems from seeing the advancement in HVAC technology is the geothermal HVAC system. One of these days, I will be installing a nice geothermal HVAC system in my home. I bet my wife will complain that it’s not something fancy like radiant heated floors, but we can make the geothermal HVAC work as a radiant heating system.
