I don’t know what took the shipping company so long, but I’m happy that my new equipment is finally here
I didn’t have an air conditioner for the first month of summer, but I finally broke down and bought something. I ordered the new air conditioner last week, and the equipment still hasn’t arrived. I purchased the air conditioner from a well-known online site that offered free 2-day shipping. I can’t complain about shipping too much, because it was free after all. Still, I expected delivery to be prompt and on time. I ordered the air conditioner on Monday, and it was supposed to arrive on Wednesday afternoon. When I came home from work, there was no package on the front doorstep. I waited all night and the next morning, before I decided to call the company to complain. They tried to tell me that the air conditioner was delivered yesterday, and I asked for proof. After three or four minutes, the telephone operator told me that the air conditioner was still enroute to my home. When I hung up the phone, I didn’t know if the air conditioner was coming or going. I decided to give the company 3 additional days, before I called and asked for my money to be returned. Yesterday was the last day, and the air conditioner finally arrived. I thought the package would never come, but it’s finally here. The package isn’t damaged, and the air conditioner looks brand-new. I don’t know what took the shipping company so long, but I’m happy that my new equipment is finally here. My son is coming over tomorrow afternoon to help me install the new equipment. After waiting a week, the air conditioner better feel like a cold arctic breeze.
