My wife really loves gardening.
It’s her favorite thing to do, and she stays pretty busy out in our yard during most of the spring and summer. She plants all kinds of flowers out there and last year she even planted two new flowering dogwood trees, too. They are right in front of our front porch so they should be really pretty to look out whenever they start flowering next spring. Well, last year when my wife was out in the backyard working and doing her usual gardening thing, she inadvertently ruined our air conditioning unit that’s back there. We have a couple of outdoor A/C condenser units outside. One is behind the garage and then one is by the flowerbed in the backyard. Well, my wife was doing some landscaping and planting out by the A/C condenser unit that’s by the flowerbed. She just happened to leave a tarp outside that had some mulch on it whenever she came in for the day. Then she forgot about it and ended up going to bed. That night, the temperature started cooling down and the wind started blowing like crazy. It ended up blowing the tarp on top of the air conditioning unit and somehow it got sucked down into the fan! Whenever the A/C turned on in the house, the tarp got wrapped all around the fan and so we were just out of luck as far as cooling off the house! We had to pay a fortune in A/C repairs, but at least our yard looked really good that year.
