All businesses in my area must use air purifiers to stay open

I planned to open the bakery on the weekend of the 31st, although I had to reschedule until the following Tuesday, and the ribbon-splitting ceremony was busy for a week.

However, the air purification system did not arrive until several days after the busy date; but I ordered the air purification system from a local heating as well as air conditioning contractor.

They came to the bakery to take measurements of the locale so I had the right equipment to do the work correctly, then every contractor needs an air purification system as well in order to be open during this pandemic. I expected the device to be here before the opening day, however it was late! A couple days before the ribbon-splitting ceremony, I had to make a decision. I decided to cancel the grand opening as well as reschedule it for the next weekend. I knew that both of us could not open for contractors without the air purification system or both of us would easily run the risk of getting a citation from the county health department here. A lot of people were upset as well as disappointed as well as several people still showed up at the time. I had to tell people the terrible news as well as see the disappointed look on their faces. I know I lost patrons that would have purchased bakery goods. The following weekend, I opened the doors to an actually small crowd. I recognize having to reschedule the grand opening was a terrible way to introduce the contractor to the community. I’m entirely aggravated with the repair I gained from the air purification system distributor. They should be held accountable for the delay as well as the small crowd on opening day..
