My coworker was miserable on the airplane with such horrible air quality

I am not a big fan of going on trips.

I don’t truly know how others totally feel differently about all the hassle.

I’ll never forget the time that I was talking to one of my co-workers about his trip out of the region to see his in-laws’ recommitment ceremony. It already sounds like a horrible experience! He said that this gathering was a rather big deal for the family, plus he got so stressed about everything that at the airport he started drinking before the flight. When it came time to hop on his flight a few hours later, he was wasted. He even had to endure a few hours sitting on the tarmac plus he was feeling severely terrible. He honestly had no control over his indoor air quality levels or surrounding environment. If you have been in an airplane in recent times, you actually understand that the ventilation is nothing you want to try to rely on. In fact, in some parts of the plane it feels as though there is no indoor ventilation in the slightest. In others, it will be blasting you in the face, thanks to the ventilation unit of your neighbors. The air will either be hot, humid, plus stagnant or you will learn that the a/c equipment is on full blast. He said the indoor air quality levels were quite irritating, but the worst part of it was the lack of indoor air temperature controls on the airplane itself. Apparently, he managed to get on an airplane with broken ventilation equipment. He was caught breathing the recycled air of his neighbors with no ventilation control of his own at all… plus his trips to throwup in the powder room were not appreciated by anyone on the plane.
