Museum was great except for the hot temperature inside

I was looking forward to my leave from work.

It had been a tough year with strict deadlines, and I had no time to do any fun activities like touring the up-to-date museum in town! After failing to visit on numerous weekends, I finally decided to do it during my break from work. It was the best time, and I knew Cindy would tag along. As I discussed these plans with her over coffee, she mentioned that particular exhibits weren’t complete, but there were still a lot of things we could see while we were there. Two days before the set date, she called me with some sad news. There had been numerous negative reviews online mentioning that the museum lacked respected air ventilation. With so many people going to see the new museum, they said it was hot and humid inside, making it an unenjoyable visit. I went online, and true to her word, the museum didn’t have a HVAC system that worked properly. They responded to some of the complaints stating the installation of the central cooling equipment was underway… However, it would take some time since not all the AC ductwork was complete. I contemplated canceling our plans because it would not be a memorable tour if it was hot and humid inside the whole time. But, we decided to still go on a day that was not going to be as busy as normal. We’d still tour the museum even when the air conditioning wasn’t working. It was the best idea, and we noticed a few mini-split AC mounted on the walls. After inquiring, we learned that the delay was because of an inexperienced Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman who had since been fired. He had tampered with some AC wiring which caused the Heating and Air Conditioning plan to fail. Finding the respected AC installation and repair company took time, but the team had managed to get them on board. Once the installation was done, the museum would have a properly functioning heating and cooling unit.
