So I went to inspect the thermostat to see if I could change the temperature, But the screen on the thermostat was black.
My parents have been going on vacation a lot and right now they are gone for about two weeks. My parents never leave me alone in the house and I am so excited to have a little bit of freedom. I’m currently a junior in high school and I think it might be a good idea to have a few kids over for a little get together while my parents are out of town. I know they wouldn’t be happy to know I was going to throw a little get together while they were gone but what doesn’t hurt them won’t kill them. At least that was my thought process before I had the little party. Once I had the kids over at my house we were having a great time, but of course things started to get a little bit out of control. I noticed that it was really hot in the house and I thought at first it was just because I had so many kids running around. So I went to inspect the thermostat to see if I could change the temperature, But the screen on the thermostat was black. We have a smart thermostat in our house so I knew that something was wrong if the screen was black. Normally the screen has the temperature of the house on it, but this time it was just black and not responding. I was so nervous that something was wrong with our thermostat and I wanted to call my parents right away. However, I had to wait till the next day before I could call my parents because I knew they would be upset if they knew I had kids over at the house.
