Winter weather was made more bearable because of humidifiers

I’m fed up with living in temp hell every year.

Regardless of the season, every one of us kept breaking our record low temps on a consecutive basis, year after year.

It’s getting so bad that I had to purchase my own snow plow just to clear off my driveway plus backyard when the inevitable snowfall arrives. I also need to use a big snow blower to clear off our front plus back porches. It’s so hectic every year trying to navigate the extreme weather during the Wintertide season. Pat and I have to use a lot of energy to keep the home warm, although our geothermal heat pump makes it that every one of us only pay a fraction of what every one of us used to when all that every one of us had was a gas fan-forced heating system. But even with the best oil and gas furnaces available, there’s the issue of humidity to deal with, or in our case—a total lack of steady humidity. Usually drier is typically better with indoor spaces, until it gets too dry. It’s evidently subjective, but there is a point between 30% plus 40% humidity where your skin will begin to crack plus your lips will become very chapped. Usually Pat begrudgingly put up with this every year, but this year we were both much more comfortable after installing several humidifiers around the house. Each humidifier cost only $20 at the drugstore, plus in total every one of us saved roughly 10% on our entire order by using our rewards points. Just adding these humidifiers around the home made a noticeable difference in our comfort level. Now I’m not going to loathe the Winter nearly as much as I have most years in the past.
