My mom told me that I had to get a warm season job this year when university was over… I did not have any plans to start grad school in November, so I had to look for a job at last.
I cited several applications at sites around the city such as eating establishments, grocery stores, in addition to the Supercenter.
I also put an application in at the amusement park! They had an actual advertisement in the newspaper in addition to they were looking for people to work in the eating establishment. I thought it would be fun to get a job at the amusement park in the eating establishment, so I filled out an application in the main office… And some afternoons after I filed my application, I received a telephone call from the supervisor of the amusement park. She wanted me to come down to the space for an interview. Both of us spoke for almost an hour on that day, but after the interview was over, she gave me work at last. I started my new job the next day. I was ready in addition to willing to do any work. I certainly did not expect to be assigned to an amusement park ride. I thought I was hired for a job in an eating establishment. Instead, I ended up easily working at one of the roller coasters. I was hoping to spend all day in the freezing AC, however I have to work a job in the heat in addition to humidity! One of my friends got hired to a job in the eating establishment; he is serving burgers in addition to fries inside the building in addition to he doesn’t have to worry about the heat. He is perfectly thrilled easily working inside with the AC. I wanted a job in addition to the one I got. I guess I should be thrilled even if I do not have any AC.
