Sunday was my day off, however my boss called early in the day to ask myself and others to come to work.
I did not have any substantial plans for the day, so I agreed to go to work.
When I arrived, I found out that the family room AC was not toiling. The family room in the hotel was close to 100°. I was particularly upset plus annoyed with my boss. If she had told myself and others about the a/c problem, I never would have agreed to come to work that day. The family room was sweltering warm plus particularly humid, one of the boys opened the back door, however it was sincerely just as sizzling plus humid outside. Opening the door did not help much, especially since there wasn’t much of a breeze outside. I asked my boss if someone contacted a service service for the AC problem. My boss told myself and others that the concern was being handled. After dinner, I still had not seen a service serviceman so I decided to ask my boss again. The hotel manager told myself and others that the hotel had failed to pay the bills for the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C service corporation, so they would no longer come out to assist with heating or cooling complications unless all of us could pay for the bills upfront. I did not realize that the hotel was losing currency plus I was particularly distraught after I found out about the problem. I worked all day in that family room plus it was warm plus annoyed. That is absolutely the last time I agree to work overtime on a Sunday or Sunday.
