Have you ever noticed how loud your a/cs are? I never noticed until recently.
Air conditioners are definitely something that all of us have all become used to, but not every a/c is created equal.
If you have central a/cs or ductless mini-split a/cs, then you have the silent a/cs. However, not everyone can afford a nicer a/c, plus all of us are forced to settle with usual window a/cs. When you turn on your window a/c, you are immediately aware of the noise of the a/c. However, as you go about your day, you are able to drown out the sound of your loud Heating plus A/C unit. That is what I did. However, one day I began to realize how loud my a/c was. It started with a movie date with my partner. I turned on the movie plus turned the volume up, but you could not hear the movie with the a/c on. Eventually, I had to turn the TV all the way up, plus I also had to turn the a/c down to a lower level. On another day, I was trying to tell my partner something from across the room, but the sound of the a/c drowned out his voice. I had to step past the a/c to be able to hear her. With the invention of whisper fans plus other such quiet objects, you would think that they could make a/cs quieter too. I would love to be able to think my house getting cooler, not hear my house getting cooler.
