I don’t prefer really working on front counter at work.
- I used to prefer it, but now it’s annoying because the customers are rude plus confused about what they want.
I prefer really working in drive-thru; if a client is rude, at least I can close the window plus walk away, but not front counter; I have to lay there plus endure the discourtesy. Even when it’s not busy, I have to stay in our locale. Eventually our feet plus lower back will start hurting plus I have to traninterest around to not suppose about the pain, just when I thought the dinner rush was over, it wasn’t, however people came pouring into the lobby, kneeling in line waiting to locale their order! The customers who ordered are disgruntled about how slow the family room is in making their food. Sometimes I feel bad because I can’t go back in the family room to make the food, plus the customers are looking at myself and others prefer why am I kneeling there. Simple items such as ice cream, shakes, plus Starbucks Latte I make myself so customers are not waiting for a long time. A client came to our register plus located his order; He asked myself and others if it’s constantly this warm in the restaurant. I told him yep. As I looked at the number of people in the lobby, I also told him all the body heat also isn’t helping. I began thinking maybe the air conditioner is really working; it’s not blowing cold air prefer it should.
