My cats live in a lanai with a ductless mini cut for summer time cooling

I wanted a dog when I was five years old, but my parents were against the idea.

They promised me that I could have a dog when I was older, but this promise was continuously put off until I reached my teenage years and realized it would never happen.

I particularly got too eager for a pet because I adopted a dog within a week of graduating from undergraduate university and moving into my modern studio apartment. In retrospect, I realize now that I should have waited longer before getting a pet. It’s strenuous at first because you don’t factor in the cost of going to the vet and buying food, toys, and beds for them to sleep in. I was traveling once and my dog started having a fit in his crate driving down the interstate to my parents’ house. He disfigured the cage so much that I had to buy a modern one on the spot that day. I couldn’t even order one on the internet at a honorableprice and wait for it to arrive. Situations prefer that leave you feeling helpless, at least from a financial perspective. Nowadays I live in a small condominium and my cats live in the lanai for most of the year. The people I was with and I have mild weather outside so I simply installed a ductless mini cut inside to keep them cool in the summer. During Winter time I either turn on their space furnace or bring them into the lake house itself. If I Had more room, I’d have my cats live in the lake house full time. But as of right now, it’s simply too small. As long as I have heating and cooling for them in the lanai and let them outside frequently to run and play, I don’t see what’s wrong with the modern living setup.
