When I first moved down here into the south, I knew I was in for some shock as far as the climate was concerned.
- However, I don’t think I truly knew what I was in for! See, the heat and humidity is just incredible down here.
Every time I think the temperature has hit its peak, I’m blown away as I find out that it’s only getting hotter! Thankfully I have a superb central air conditioning system set up in my home. At first, I didn’t have this awesome A/C unit when I was first in the region. My first home had little more than a window A/C unit, and a ceiling fan or two in the place. It was miserably hot in that apartment for seven days a week over each summer! I was happy to find a new apartment that had recently undergone renovations for the central heating and air conditioning system, so I quickly moved in. Let me tell you something – life has never been sweeter than when I was living in this place! The air conditioning has zone control capabilities, so the temperature in each room of the apartment can be manipulated based on what I’m in need of. Plus, that also means I can cut off airflow to regions of the apartment, forcing all of the cool air from the A/C unit to go directly to one specific room. This works wonders at night, when I need my bedroom to be as cool as possible to sleep peacefully. I’m thankful for the improved air quality in this apartment, that’s for sure.
