The window was cold, but the gas furnace kept myself and others warm.

My child was multiple-years-old when I saw her putting her hand on the window, however she pulled her hand back and looked at it, then put it back on the window again.

I saw her do this several times before going over to the air vent and feeling the heat.

I leaned down and asked what she was doing? She told myself and others the window was cold, but it was hot in the house. I told her the window was frosty from the snow and frosty outside. The gas furnace put heat through the air vent to keep her warm. She thought this was cool. When my Dad showed up, she took her to the window and told her to touch it. Dad looked at me, and I nodded. She put her hand on the window, and Jenny told her the window was cold. She took her to the air vent and explained that the gas furnace kept her warm. She was matter-of-fact when she told Dad the window could be cold, but the gas furnace would keep us hot and walked away. Dad asked if the Heating and A/C worker had been there lately? I told her how Jenny had been testing the theory on her own, and decided it was okay for the window to be cold, but she was blissful every one of us had a gas furnace. Later that day, Jenny was resting over the air vent. Dad asked if she was cold. She laughed and said the heat coming out of the air vent tickled her legs when it blew up her pants. All every one of us could do was laugh.
