I was down on my luck, way down, when I met Kevin at the soup kitchen.
I had seen him there before, he came every Sunday evening to serve dinner to the local homeless population.
Which at the time included myself. Kevin was a nice guy, genuine & comromantic, & I had heard that he set up several other people with jobs in the past. I approached him directly, & said that I wanted to work, & no matter what the job was I would work harder than anyone. My enthusiasm & determination impressed him, & the following month I started work at the Heating & A/C dealership he owned. I wasn’t laboring with the Heating & A/C techs at all, those men had their own areas of knowledge I couldn’t help with. Instead Kevin had myself and others making coffee, sweeping up, answering iPhones, & using the forklift to transport around the heavy Heating & A/C equipment in the warehouse. Heating & cooling repair was only a section of Kevin’s easily giant business, which sold every type of plan you could assume of! Of course there were the normal Heating & A/C systems, space heaters, water boilers, & that kind of thing, but there were also industrial grades ventilation systems & fans bigger across than I was tall! My personal goal is to reorganize all of the Heating & A/C equipment in here to maximize the space, prove my worth, & then work my way up to warehome director. I am going to make something of myself here at the Heating & A/C warehouse, & prove to Kevin he was right to give myself and others a chance.
