Long life, better efficiency from HVAC maintenance

With this HVAC service plan we get heating maintenance in the Fall and then there is the air conditioning tune up in the Spring

We bought my wife a new car earlier this Spring. This was something that we had been researching and actively pursuing for more than six months. Her last car went a really long time before the air conditioning unit gave out along with other problems that made it to expensive to repair. Thankfully, we were able to limp that car through our Winter before she needed that air conditioning again. The new car is just what she wanted and we were able to get a pretty good price on it as well. It even came in the color that she was hoping for. So she took that thing for an oil change the other day. I saw the bill and nearly fell out of my chair. Of course, everything is just so much more expensive these days. And this car has to have synthetic oil blends which are quite pricey. Still, spending nearly a hundred dollars on routine maintenance nearly knocked me out of my chair. I guess that’s just something that I’m going to have to get used to. That’s because we definitely believe in preventive maintenance around here. It’s a cost that is just part of owning good quality stuff. Same thing goes for the HVAC equipment in our home. We’ve been part of the HVAC service plan since it was installed a decade ago. With this HVAC service plan we get heating maintenance in the Fall and then there is the air conditioning tune up in the Spring. It’s all very worth while because we’ve never had a second of downtime when it comes to heating or air conditioning. And consistent seasonal HVAC maintenance also extends the life of our heat pump.
