For the past couple of weeks, there’s been something wrong with the HVAC system in my favorite coffee shop.
- Usually when I go in there, the first thing that I notice is the awesome indoor air quality in the building.
I think that they really do a good job on setting the temperature on their thermostat at the coffee shop. It’s one of those places where you feel comfortable no matter what the season is. Some places that I’ve frequented before have the A/C set way too low in the summer and you go inside and start freezing immediately. And then there are other places where you go in the winter and the heating is turned up to such a high temperature that you can’t stand to be there for very long at all. Normally, though, the A/C and furnace are set at just the right temperature in the coffee shop. That’s really why it’s my favorite place to go, to tell you the truth. But over the past week or so, the temperature has been way too cold for my liking. I don’t know if there’s a new manager who is setting the thermostat differently or what, but I do know that I don’t like it one bit. I’m hoping that maybe there’s just an issue with the air conditioning or the thermostat. If that’s the case, then a quick call to the local HVAC company should fix the problem. I think I’ll ask the shift manager today what’s going on with the A/C because I don’t want to have to start going to a different coffee shop!
