It seems that I can enjoy every season of the year except for summer. Summer always causes me to have sunburns and problems with my air conditioning. If I didn’t have an air conditioner, I wouldn’t be able to get comfortable under any circumstances. Recently, we were in the middle of a heat wave and my air conditioner quit working. I guess I should have known better than to try to get through the summer without having my air conditioning unit inspected. Right after I had it inspected this past spring, we had some horrible storms go through the area. There was a lot of rain and some flooding that was bad enough that my air conditioning unit was nearly covered with water. I thought that the heat of the sun should have dried it out, but I guess I was wrong. If I had called the HVAC company and had them come to the house and look at the air conditioning unit, I probably wouldn’t have ended up without AC on the hottest day of the year. I had to call the HVAC company and now I will also be paying for after hour work. I am grateful that I will soon have a working air conditioning unit again, but I’m not happy with what it is going to cost me. I can only hope that there isn’t more damage than I am imagining. I would hate it if I had to buy a new air conditioning unit and I would possibly need to wait another week before it could be installed.
