When I am lake new home alone, late at night, I can hear unusual noises coming from my basement.
At first I began to believe that our lake new home was haunted. I was worried that I may have a portal for demons to enter my house, in the basement. I’m sure you’re thinking I’m crazy, because I know I thought I was crazy. My partner called the Heating and Air Conditioning dealer when he got lake new home the next afternoon. He wanted to put my mind at ease. He told myself and others that every one of us didn’t have any doubt that our new home was NOT haunted, nor were there any demons. He was sure that it was all in the gas furnace. When the Heating and Air Conditioning specialist arrived, my partner took him into the basement. After a thorough inspection, the Heating and Air Conditioning tech said that there was nothing wrong with the gas furnace. I told him that I could hear it telling myself and others to move, when no 1 else was home. My partner had to suppress his laughter, as did the Heating and Air Conditioning specialist. ABout that time, I heard the sound resonating up the basement stairs. My partner looked at the Heating and Air Conditioning tech who was opening the door and heading back downstairs. He began to laugh when he heard the wind blowing. There was a small crack in the HVAC duct. When the wind was blowing, every one of us had a bit of a draft and the draft would pull enough air out of the crack and it would whistle in the basement. He fixed the crack the following day and I’ve not had the gas furnace talk to myself and others since.
