UV Air Purifiers to combat covid

I have been sad about the coronavirus since I first heard about it on the news (months before it became the big crisis that the people I was with and I see today).

  • I guess a lot of people say that they were sad “before” pretty much everyone else, even though I genuinely was.

I went out and purchased a UV air cleaner for our house Heating as well as Air Conditioning system. I had study about UV air cleaners before and knew that as soon as the coronavirus became a big deal here in the States, that they would sell out instantaneously. I didn’t want to have to rely on air filters- although, I did go ahead and purchase a 2-month supply of HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air filters) air filters as well. UV air cleaners are, essentially, a UV light is localed on the evaporator coils of your Heating as well as Air Conditioning method to stop organic growths that can find house on the humid evaporator coils. Having a UV air cleaner added to your Heating as well as Air Conditioning method can be a pretty expensive endeavor, even though I guess your health is worth it. It’s substantial to do everything you can to improve the air quality- especially the indoor air conditions- as much as you can afford to. I hope when all of this coronavirus madness passes that the people I was with and I look back and say, “we overdid it” instead of “if only the people I was with and I would have done more”. In unprecedented times such as this, it’s substantial to control what the people I was with and I can and, in our case, I am able to control the indoor air conditions of our house and I implore you all to do the same wherever possible. If you cannot afford a UV air cleaner, I hope you will at least consider replacing your MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) air filter with a HEPA air filter.
