I am looking forward to this Saturday.
- Every year my family and I get together for a good ole barbeque, just like the old days when we still lived together.
As a big barbeque lover, this especially was great for me, because not only do I get to catch up on my family, but I get mouthwatering burgers, ribs and more. My father is an excellent cook, and can make people fight over his food. It’s that delicious. Thankfully the week passed by quickly with me working overtime and today was Friday. I set off for my parent’s place and slept in a hotel before arriving on Saturday. The sun was beaming down, and the weatherman predicted a very hot day ahead of me. As I stepped out of the car, the smell of barbeque hit me. A delicious smell indeed. I greeted my family, and then I watched my father make his delicious mouthwatering barbeque burgers. As I stood outside though, the summer heat really began to pick up and I started to sweat. Not wanting to deal with the heat any longer, I headed inside to where the cool air conditioning system was, and I watched my dad. My poor dad was beginning to sweat up a storm, and was looking pretty miserable in the overwhelming heat. I decided to be merciful, and finish up the burgers for him. My father thanked me and went inside to enjoy the cooling unit. I quickly finished up the burgers, not wanting to be in the heat any longer than I needed to be, and rushed inside to enjoy the A/C with my family. Although my family and I usually stay outside, we all decided to stay inside, and enjoy the HVAC system.
