My plan to leave the HVAC business

Last month I had to job multiple days in a row, 12 hour shifts every day except Wednesday, when it was a 16 hour endurance challenge, however I can’t complain, I guess, because the overtime money is freaking sweet once it hits the bank account, but at the same time, it kills me because every second I spend at work is one second I don’t get to focus on my songs, and music is my life, and one day I hope that it will also be my livelihood, but that day has not come yet.

For now I remain a hard entirely working Heating and A/C tech, although I hope these days are drawing to a close.

Actually, I am trying to turn the negative into a positive and save up as much as I can of these overtime checks from the Heating and A/C company. I get paid time and a half for OT, with a shift differential on graveyard for emergency Heating and A/C service jobs that come in overnight. I am constantly so tired I never have the opportunity to go spend this money, so I can save it all up and one day have a nest egg when I get the Heating and A/C game for the songs business. I should be able to save enough for a new mic, and enough to convert my upstairs office into a studio, and take an entire month off from Heating and A/C work. After that I can decide to go back to work to receive more with the a/c work, or continue on with my songs until the money runs out.
