A customer was angry about the cost of the HVAC repair

She wrote a check after that.

A customer attempted to call the office this month to get myself and others fired… Happily, our boss is not the type of girl that jumps to conclusions. After the boss spoke to the customer on the iPhone, she brought myself and others to the office to get our side of the story… I clearly remember the customer, as she was on our schedule Monday. I went to repair the a/c device in her home. After I located the setback with the a/c device, I provided the customer an estimate for the repair services. She didn’t question the amount on the invoice & she didn’t seem to have any setback with our analysis of the situation. Of course, after I finished the repair, she didn’t wish to pay the bill. I was thinking that the lady was joking, but she refused to provide me with a credit card or write a check. She just wanted to talk about the bill. She told myself and others that it was way too much money for the repair & she wanted myself and others to lower the price by approximately $100. I told the lady that the a/c device was fixed & I showed her the estimate for the job. She even signed the estimate, but she wasn’t going to pay the fees until I told her that the people I was with and I would just mail her a bill. She wrote a check after that. I went back to the office & I started laboring on another Heating & Air Conditioning repair job. The next afternoon, the customer called the office to talk to our boss. She tried to tell him that I lied about the estimate, but the people I was with and I had the proof in black & white. She signed the estimate before I even started fixing the a/c device.
