Winter is easiest smoking deterrent

About a year ago I quit my full-time job which was making me completely miserable.

If you have ever worked in an organization with a terrible upper management, then you understand the kind of stress I was under.

Everyday felt like a new adventure in everything going wrong. No matter what I did, I was always redoing my work and getting yelled at. When I quit my job I also decided to quit a terrible have – smoking. Luckily, I can tell you that having less stress makes it a lot easier to quit nicotine. Additionally, living in an extremely cold and blustery environment makes cigarettes completely unappealing. I realized this fairly early on in the winter season when the outdoor air temperature plummeted. Suddenly, it was below freezing every single day and the windchill brought the outdoor air temperature below zero. It was absolutely miserable to be outside for any amount of time, let alone standing in the Ice Cold air just to puff on a cigarette. After several days of attempting to make the best of a frigidly cold situation, you will eventually give up on the idea. It’s really not so pleasant to suck smoke into your lungs as your fingers are going numb and your body cannot stop shaking from the brutally cold temperatures. The first time that you almost get frostbite because you were engaging in the stupid habit of smoking, you may start to reconsider how you feel about cigarettes. Or, you might just install a heater system in your yard.
