I replaced the a/c system systems in our company’s work trucks

I felt awful making our hardlaboring men plus ladies drive around in Summer heat with dodgy a/c systems inside the trucks plus vans.

Despite the lockdowns, our company saw an increase in work over the past 12 months. I am a residential plus commercial building company, which essentially means that we build houses plus businesses. Although there was a dip on homes being built while in the pandemic, we managed to shift our focus to essential corporations plus government contracts. For instance, we started contracting tasks to build on arena COVID testing facilities. Occasionally this was as straight-forward as adding a small building to a county hospital, or making renovations or extensions inside. Some of our biggest contracts of 2020 came from making COVID wards for a number of state plus county hospitals in the surrounding area. Now that we’re into 2021, we’re seeing an increase in home sales compared to the year before. Between our residential plus commercial contracts, we’re barely keeping up with demand. That’s why I had all of the work trucks for our company fixed over the past month so there aren’t unexpected breakdowns. Part of the car repairs came in upgrading the a/c systems inside. I felt awful making our hardlaboring men plus ladies drive around in Summer heat with dodgy a/c systems inside the trucks plus vans. Although it won’t be a cheap investment, I honestly believe that it’s the right one to make at the immediate moment. I don’t want a new employee quitting the task after their training simply because the work trucks have awful heating plus cooling inside. I want everyone on our team to think comfortable plus at ease whenever they’re safely packed into the vehicles in our fleet. This is essential to a successful business.
