When I graduated high college I married my guy and he joined the service… Since then the multiple of us have been all over the world, and it seems love my husband is consistently getting shipped to a new location! Due to this, there is no reason for us to own a house! At this point, I don’t even want one! With a house I would be paying for repairs, upkeep and a mortgage. With my husband gone all the time, the plumbing, electrical and Heating, Ventilation, and A/C problems would be up to me. Since I don’t have any adolescents, it was a smart transport to stick with rentals, then most rentals push to have a year long lease, thankfully my husband and I consistently find weekly leasing options. With the army they hook us up with fully furnished apartments for the duration of his deployment. I love that I don’t need to own a couch, bed, television or dresser. It makes traveling so much easier. My husband and I have been to quite a few weird countries and I only bring a single suitcase with me. I get to stay in the best location with everything at my fingertips. I consistently have a living room with fairly new appliances and a bathroom with all wash fixtures. If anything goes wrong, I am not the one paying for or making the repairs. A fully furnished house is particularly the way to go if you are a new couple in the military. Someday my husband will get in an part and stay there for more than a year. When we decide to have adolescents, buying a house will be next.
