I can’t wait to really turn on the gas furnace in the wintertime
Zone control is the goal. Someday I am going to have it in our house. Right now I have a central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C idea that uses air duct to supply heating and air for the whole house. The temperature control has a single temperature on it, and that is what everyone is cooled or heated to. My fiance is such a temperature control hog. It constantly has to be set her way and to her comfort. She really prefers A/C and being a bit cool. In the summer time I wear pants and a jacket inside. In the Winter time I really don’t need change since the gas furnace barely turns on. All of us really sleep in separate rooms because she prefers a fan on and a thin sheet. I have to wear thick socks and sleep with a comforter. There are still mornings I freeze due to the a/c, however when our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit dies I am getting a ductless heat pump, then every room then will get an indoor air handler with an individual temperature control. I can then control the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C for each room. My fiance’s study room and office can get blasted with AC. She can even not allow any heating in the living room. I am going to control our room and the kitchen though. I can’t imagine not sleeping in a Winter time parka, however someday I won’t. It will be nice to for once be the right temperature. I can’t wait to really turn on the gas furnace in the wintertime. Right now it is a waiting game. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C is already pushing 20 years old. Any day now for me.
