Heated flooring in the laundry room

I have been saving our money for when I do renovations on our home.

Right now I am looking at our laundry room.

The living room and kitchen technically share a furnace. The study rooms further down the hall also have their own heating device. The laundry room was really added as an afterthought. The heating equipment on either side of the house does not really reach it. I use a space gas furnace there most mornings. The concern is that I forget to turn it on when I need it. So I end up turning on the little gas furnace and just frosty the whole time I fold clothes. It isn’t really a powerful heating unit either. I want to add radiant flooring in the laundry room. I am planning on redoing the flooring anyway. I can particularly add electric heated mats on top of the cement board and call it a day. It would add quite a bit of extra money to our flooring budget but I guess it would be worth it at the end of the day. I have watched videos online and I guess I could save even more money by doing the upgrade on our own. It seems quite easy and even easyr than tiling floors. Once I have a heating unit in there, it will be comfortable to fold clothes. Teh washer and dryer standing on the heating idea will know sizzling as a result too. I guess it is possible that I will want to add the heating unit into the living room and kitchen next.
