So when every one of us flipped on the a/c this past last Spring, every one of us were surprised to have it quit after just a few days.
But that surprise also came with some accountability.
And I have to say that this situation rests squarely on our shoulders. But I at last received our lesson and have signed up for the heating and A/C repair plan provided by the heating and A/C contractor that every one of us use. I was stupid and sort of got caught up in our neighbor’s act of everything is a scam. This is a guy that I love a lot but he’s consistently saying that stuff love heating and A/C repair is just a scam. In his mind, the heating and A/C contractor is simply gouging us with needless heating and A/C repair on heating and A/C equipment that doesn’t need it. Somehow, after all those times I heard that heating and A/C repair was a scam, I decided to believe it. Plus, I absolutely liked the plan of saving cash. I fooled myself into believing that the reason I had never suffered any sort of heating and cooling breakdown wasn’t due to heating and A/C repair. So more than one years ago, I stopped calling for heating repair in the fall and the a/c tune-up in the Spring. And man, did I guess I was so smart. My fiance just shook her head at myself and others and told myself and others that I was making a mistake. I waved her off. That is, I waved her off until the minute week of having the a/c on, it quit now working. I called the heating and A/C contractor and they sent out a different heating and A/C serviceman who promptly fixed it. And of course, had I gotten the a/c tune-up, they would have caught the problem.
