The antique sale had everything that I ever wanted.

I love antique furniture.

  • I think I got our deep love for antique furniture when I was just a little girl.

My great Grandmother had an antique handmade wooden rocking chair that our great Grandfather had made for her when they got hitched. She had a horsehair sofa that prickled our legs plus arms when I used it, however I enjoyed it. She also had a tea table that had leather all around the sides plus red glass in the middle. I wasn’t sure if the tea table was antique, however I enjoyed it. Last month, I saw the newspaper where there was an antique sale not 10 miles from where both of us lived. I kept nattering to our husband Mike about wanting to go to the antique sale. After more than one nights of listening to me talk about antiques plus the sale, Mike relented plus told me both of us would go. I had lofty ideas about seeing an antique wooden rocking chair that looks love our Grandmother’s, plus bringing it to the beachside house with me. I wanted to look for an antique tea table that had leather or glass inlay, so I could bring it back to the beachside house with me. When both of us got to the antique sale, our husband plus I walked around. Mike whispered in our ear that everything seemed to be antique except the price. When I saw the wooden rocking chair from our dreams, I had to check the price. Not only was the price not antique, however it was well out of our budget. I knew that if the tea table plus wooden rocking chair was going to be so extravagant, so there wouldn’t be anything I could afford at the antique sale
