I didn’t feel there was much wrong with the gas furnace, but I was mistaken.
I didn’t realize exactly how much was wrong until the Heating and A/C worker arrived.
I knew it wasn’t nearly as hot as it was, and there were a few weird grinding noises, but I didn’t guess the gas furnace could become a deadly weapon; When the Heating and A/C worker showed up and looked at the gas furnace, she came back upstairs and asked if I had somewhere I could go? I told him I owned the house, but she shook her head. She told myself and others there was a broken component that could not be repaired or substituted. If the component got worse, it could cause carbon monoxide to leak into the house. I knew all about carbon monoxide. I was a nurse and had seen my share of people who had died from carbon monoxide poisoning. I didn’t want this to happen to me, but every one of us talked about getting a new gas furnace, and she said she would have myself and others talk to an Heating and A/C contractor, but she didn’t want myself and others in the apartment much longer, as soon as she left, I packed a bin and headed to my best friend’s house. I told her what was happening with the gas furnace and what the Heating and A/C worker had said. I had some locale to stay, and the Heating and A/C company had my iphone number so I could talk to an Heating and A/C contractor. I saw on the news where the fire company had been to my house, and remediation had been done for carbon monoxide poisoning. They said the owner wasn’t present for an interview, but I was doing well and staying with a friend.
