A few years ago, my wife and I finally achieved our dream of buying our own home.
It wasn’t easy, and it took multiple years of saving, but finally we managed to buy our very own home.
When we bought the home, I never paid much attention to the central cooling system. It did its job well, and that is all that mattered to me. However, I did notice it was lacking an outside Heating and Air Conditioning component, which I thought was weird, I just figured that for some reason our air conditioning machine did not have an outdoor heating and cooling component. But now, as I was laying on our balcony looking out, I now realize I have been wrong all along. Because from up here, I can see we in fact do have a central air conditioning outdoor unit, it is just hidden behind the bushes in our backyard. I feel a bit stupid now. I asked my wife if she had ever noticed this and she told me yes she had, and that was something she liked about our home, because she evidently found the air conditioning units to be tacky looking, so attractive bushes hiding them made her cheerful, and made the community look better. As I looked at our neighboring homes, most of them had the same thing, you couldn’t tell there even was a Heating and Air Conditioning machine, at least, until it turned on and made a sound. I felt dumb for not noticing this sooner, but it is what it is.
