There is an HVAC technician in our town that nobody wants to work for.
- In fact, if you find yourself employed by this HVAC technician, then you are probably someone who is disqualified from other jobs that you would rather be working at.
The trouble is that the HVAC technician who owns one of the HVAC companies in town is probably one of the worst HVAC technicians that I have ever met. Even though he is a certified HVAC technician, he was the worst HVAC technician to work for a different company, and he was eventually fired because he wasn’t doing his job. He decided to start a new HVAC company, and he began hiring young men to train as HVAC technicians. Sadly, after a year, a few of his jobs went poorly, and he ended up going into debt. Rather than being able to pay off his debt, he has had to continue taking more jobs to pay for the HVAC jobs that he was still working on, digging himself deeper and deeper into debt. To try to alleviate the debt problem, he has trouble paying his employees that are training to be HVAC technicians. He will hire them, have them work all week, and then promise to pay them for their work the following week. This HVAC technician will continue doing this week after week until finally, the young men quit. New people will be hired for this HVAC company, and the trend continues. To make matters worse, he is terrible at fixing and installing HVAC units, and his customers rarely pay him because of this.
