The HVAC brotherhood

When my father passed away last week from a long battle with cancer, we were all heartbroken.

He had been a very well liked and influential man all of his life.

As the longtime founder and manager of the local HVAC ventilation, heating and cooling company in town, he was a well known figure in the community. Even though I knew how loved and respected my father was, I would have never guessed how many people that would show up to his funeral. The audience who attending his funeral filled the church to capacity, and there was even a crowd outside paying their respects. Attending his funeral along with our extended family was over 200 certified HVAC repairman that my father had trained and turned into professionals. There was also a few of his fellow friends who he had gone through HVAC training with nearly fifty five years ago. All of these men and women had turned out to do amazing in their field of work, and some had even started HVAC companies of their own. Most people tend to forget the ones who helped them learn and hone in on their craft, and it was amazing to see how much of a lifelong impact my father had made on all of these men. As my parents only child, I am as determined as ever to follow my father’s footsteps into the HVAC ventilation, heating and cooling industry. The HVAC brotherhood is one of the strongest ones out there, and I intend to continue the legacy and make my father proud.
