Heating, Ventilation, and A/C in the winter

I have never been a large fan of winter.

  • However, I am a big fan of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C comfort during the winter.

It hasn’t always been that way though. For a number of years, I lived in a apartment that did not have a reliable heating method. It was a small apartment however one that I could afford as I started our job in social work. My field is not one where the money is top notch. Most people genuinely bail out before they get to a level where a great residing can be made. However, I didn’t go into our line of labor to get rich. So, dealing with an outdated drafty apartment was just area of the sacrifice in order to do what I like to do for a residing. There was an outdated boiler furnace in the basement of that outdated house. The heat was inconsistent and lavish. To help alleviate that situation, I installed a wood stove. My summers were filled with chopping, splitting and stacking wood for the winter. This is quite labor and time intensive. But, that wood stove really helped defray the costs from the antiquated boiler. This went on for nearly a decade before I reached a level in our job where I could afford a more modern and modern home. Now, I come home to an evenly warmed home each night. This is a result of having a modern furnace that is both quite powerful and super efficient. I brought that wood stove with me from the outdated place. It was installed as a system B should a storm come or our furnace went down for some reason. But, I sure do like dealing with such excellent Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device after years of not having it.
