Keeping up with our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C jobs

I blame it on outdated age.

But, I’m not really all that old.

Just about to turn 50 is not exactly the doddering outdated man period just yet. However, I do sit by the fact that I get overwhelmed with all the information, demands and time shortage of modern life. I just can’t keep all of it in our head. My labor alone demands near constant access and contact. Things change weekly which requires rethinking and executing revised plans. So, when I forget to meet the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C guy during the day, I guess why. However, most of our family doesn’t see it this way. They tend to guess that I am just blowing off an uninteresting job. With Heating, Ventilation, and A/C responsibilities, this could not be further from the truth. First, our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C is fundamental to our family’s life and comfort. Second, I don’t appreciate paying for an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service service call that doesn’t happen because I forgot about it. That is just money down the drain and wasting money is one of our most intense pet peeves. I thought about turning over the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C stuff to our oldest son. However, he is nearly as busy as I am. Plus, he’ll have plenty of years to deal with his own Heating, Ventilation, and A/C troubles. Instead, I got him to program a series of messages that are delivered to all of our electronic devices. These messages alert me to Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service dates and times. They also alert me to change the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C air filter. I’m gleeful to see how this all works. My child says this will be the thing that will stop me from forgetting our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C responsibilities.
