Most hotels are really cold

For several years now, my family and I have been planning on taking a long family vacation across the country.

The last few years, we would have a jar out, and every time family has a good moment or achievement, $5 is put into the jar. Since the trip we were going to take was probably going to be at least $1000, it took awhile to save up. When we did finally reach $1000, that is when we decided to take a trip. It was going to be a road trip, which included several amusement park visits, a national park visit, a planetary visit, a history museum visit, a day at the beach, horseback riding and last a waterpark visit. We had a lot planned, but this also meant a lot of hotels we were going to have to stay at. As we went through our trip, our trip was going great as planned, but there was one thing that bothered me a lot, which was the hotels. I hadn’t been in hotels for a while, and I had forgotten how cold the A/C could get! Even when turning the air conditioner up, it still stayed pretty chilly in the hotel. This caused me to toss and turn multiple times throughout the night, since I can’t sleep with really cold temperatures. I thought the HVAC issue was with that hotel, but when we arrived at our next hotel, I was surprised to have the same cooling issue as I had with the first one. As the trip continued on, it was plain to see that all hotels had really cold air conditioning. I was kind of glad to get bad to my home and enjoy my normal temperature HVAC component.
