Seeing my results continue to mount from my time at the local gym

Getting the most out of a workout program has not been something that I have had a ton of success with over my lifetime.

I’m not sure if that is because my goals were a bit too lofty or what. They probably were because I came up with them without the help of a certified fitness expert. I just tried to do things that I saw other people do. However, I had no clue about technique or any of the other very important fundamentals. Of course, this would end with me being sore or injured and I would then quit going to the gym. So when I decided to take advantage of the corporate wellness program, I promised myself that I would take advantage of the expertise. In fact, the day I went to the health and fitness center to get my gym membership, I signed up for personal training at the same time. I was just not prepared to do the same sorry workout cycle again. This time, I actually wanted to see some results. My personal trainer took time to assess my health and fitness first. From there we worked together to formulate a workout program. What we came up with was both achievable, fun and motivational. I think that is a key thing about the personal training. The motivation is there when someone is invested in your health and fitness goals. It’s been just over six months and for the first time in my life I am seeing serious results from my efforts at the gym.
