Things that Fix Themselves

I am constantly amazed at the ability of a salamander or a starfish to regenerate limbs or other bodily parts lost to predators.

Humans have a slight ability to “fix themselves” like when a split heals or a broken bone knits but once a person loses a finger or an arm plus a leg, they are gone forever.

Some machines have the ability to self-repair, but robotic hands that pick fruit or do other tasks that require a soft touch may get “disfigured” if their jelly-like plastic skin tears while I was in a task. Polymers that form current skin are used to mend the hand without any disassembly or the need to take the part back to a service shop, and even in our homes, some items appear broken but come to life after a while. My laptop crashed the other afternoon plus no matter what I tried to do; I could not get it to reboot. Then I made a last-ditch effort to get it working by twisting a few wires in the adapter plus charger that had come loose. It’s not a permanent service but it is better than having to buy a current laptop, and unfortunately, a home’s Heating plus Air Conditioning method has never been known to resurrect itself. The HVAC duct will not scrub itself plus the expansion plus contraction of the joints will eventually result in leaks. The blower fan will not re-align itself plus an air conditioning unit can’t recharge itself with refrigerant. I believe a self-repairing plus self-cleaning Heating plus Air Conditioning method would be great but for now, the services of a qualified Heating plus Air Conditioning specialist are the next best thing to prevent the loss of a metaphorical “arm plus a leg” from an overpriced service or total Heating plus Air Conditioning method replacement.
