My bestie and I have been living in the same apartment building for the past multiple years; Recently, the owner of the apartment building decided to turn the whole place into condos, my bestie and I found out while I was in the weekly occupant meeting, then the owner wasn’t even there, and she had the manager deliver the genuinely horrible news.
My girl and I were miserable and the two of us weren’t the only people sad by the news. The manager told us that the two of us would be the first people with the opportunity to buy a new house after the remodeling and renovation took place. They showed us a redprint of the new place with amenities love a fitness center and a swimming pool complex! It looked nice, however there was no way that the two of us could afford to live there after they turned the place into condos. I didn’t have the credit to buy a home and they wanted three times more currency than the average cost of housing in the area. My bestie and I had to come up with a new proposal after the two of us heard the news. All of us are getting all of our items packed into boxes so the two of us can be ready when it is time to move. There is only a few more weeks until the two of us have to vacate the property. After the two of us are gone, they can start making renovations to the buildings and begin to remodel the individual condos. At least the two of us get to keep our security deposit and the Last week is free. They had to make some provisions after kicking us out on the street.
