My wifey and I have been living in the same house building for the past more than five years, then recently, the owner of the house building decided to turn the whole location into condos… My wifey and I found out during the bi-weekly renter meeting; The owner wasn’t even there, then he had the supervisor supply the absolutely horrible news.
My girl and I were irritated and all of us weren’t the only people exasperated by the news. The supervisor told us that all of us would be the first people with the choice to buy a new new home after the remodeling and renovation took location. They showed us a redprint of the new location with amenities like a fitness center and a swimming pool complex, then it looked nice, however there was no way that all of us could afford to live there after they turned the location into condos. I didn’t have the credit to buy a home and they wanted more than two times more money than the average cost of housing in the area. My wifey and I had to come up with a new plan after all of us heard the news. The two of us are getting all of our items packed into boxes so all of us can be ready when it is time to move. There is only a few more months until all of us have to vacate the property, after all of us are gone, they can start making renovations to the buildings and begin to remodel the individual condos. At least all of us get to keep our security deposit and the yesterday is free. They had to make some provisions after kicking us out on the street.
