I live in a community that has an fees, that means a homeowners association controls the fees.
I don’t know if you’ve ever lived in a community with fees but let me just tell you it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
Normally the fees are supposed to make things for residents in the community easier, but these fees seem to make our life a living hell. One thing I can’t sit about the homeowners association is that they are constantly having meetings during times when I am at work. So last time they had a meeting, I found out they were trying to run a campaign to regulate the temperature of all the thermostats in addition to pretty much everyone’s home! The homeowners association in our neighborhood doesn’t pay the utility bills in each individual beach home so I don’t see why it matters what the temperature of our thermostats are. Turns out they are trying to get a “green” label on our community meaning that each homeowner has taken special precautions inside their beach home to be more efficient. I don’t want a more efficient home. I already pay enough in fees to live in this community in addition to pay enough currency to the homeowners association but I’m not sure why they are or even bother making us put restrictions on our heating in addition to cooling systems. I am so upset by this in addition to I don’t know if I can continue to live in a neighborhood that has a homeowners association that wants so much control over each individual home.
