I will go on our long walk but just stop in the doorway of a bodega so that I can get some a/c.
I live in a genuinely sizable city that experiences drastic cold weather in the wintertime months and extremely warm weather in the summer months. Right now it is the middle of the summer and I cannot wait for the wintertime weather to come and cool down the city. I feel like I can’t escape the heat and it’s almost miserable every day to walk outside of the house. I don’t like feeling like this because I enjoy going outside and going on walks every day. Over the past few months it’s been quite bad. I feel like every time I leave my home I’m just searching the city for a store or restaurant that has air-conditioning. I will go on our long walk but just stop in the doorway of a bodega so that I can get some a/c. I know it seems crazy that I go for walks just to rest in a store with air conditioning, but it genuinely is the only way to survive in the city in the summer. I genuinely don’t like to leave my home in the wintertime months either when it’s so cold outside, but for some reason it’s much harder for me to adjust to the hot summer weather. I don’t have heating and A/C in my condo either so I suppose that’s also a factor of why I enjoy walking around and trying to find A/C in the city. My friends think I’m crazy because I don’t have a heating and cooling proposal in my home, but they just don’t know how high-priced it is to find a home in the city with heating and cooling.
